London Postcard Co Avengers Postcards

Post by MikeR »

Does anyone have information regarding The London Postcard Co postcards?

I believe they originally did two sets of nine Avengers postcards sometime in 1998.

Further to this I think there were another three sets issued at a later date and did they also put out a couple of New Avengers sets.

Any information gratefully received.

Hi Mike

Can't find any of the post cards, but I have a few bookmarks from 1999 which list up to 40 cards and four posters released by the London Postcard Co.

Thanks for coming back on this.

I’d forgotten all about the bookmarks.

I seem to remember 9 cards in the first Avengers set.

I remember the posters very well. I have two of them here in frames on the wall.

I have a set of 40 postcards which I bought off ebay a few years ago. Mix of colour and b/w photos. Printed in the 90s. All 60s photos, no TNA shots, the last 9 were of fashion shoots, mostly of Diana in various Avengers outfits. This sounds like the same set you've mentioned. Great cards, cost me £20, hopefully worth more now! Keep checking ebay, they might just turn up there. Rich.

Anti-clockwise...
I got all mine from The Vintage Magazine Store on the corner of Gt Windmill St, London's West End at the time they were issued.
