I'm surprised this is his favorite. I thought season one overall was better. But it show cased Steed so that's probably why. i did not think the plot was all that imaginative. it had some good moments but I missed Purdey and Gambit working together and Steed and Purdey did not pull it off on this one IMHO. 7/10hatpeg wrote:Apparently Brian Clemens said this was his favourite NA episode.

Stunning in this, and all the rest of the cast are at the top of their game too.
An easy 10/10.

Thanks for that. I have seen him in quite a few parts but did not realize it. He is a brilliant actor.Frankymole wrote:Clive Revill

From one extreme to the other!
I haven't watched any TNA since subjecting myself to Trap nearly two weeks ago. In fact at that point I stopped recording the current ITV4 run so I only have 3 or 4 left to view.
What a great surprise this was. A strong plot with tension and drama. Although I'm fond of the "wacky" episodes with over-the-top characters this more straightforward story was a breath of fresh air and very welcome.
Lots of background detail, a nice performance from Gabrielle Drake and a cameo from Stinker Murdoch. I'll even overlook the blowing up of the Bentley (but only because it was merely represented by a scorched radiator grill from a model clearly much later and less valuable than any Steed had owned!)
Cracking stuff, an hour well spent.
