Avengers CD/DVD covers to match the TV show DVDs

Post by hawkangel »

I'm in no way a photoshop person.

I was mucking around on my computer and I thought it would be cool to have a cover like this to house the Big Finish Lost Episodes to match the Tv show DVDs. This is the very quick and crude mock up I came up with -

If anyone wants to come up with an actual cover, then please go right ahead. :)

Thanks guys. Like I said, I'm not a photoshop person at all.
The image was more of a mock-up to show what can be done and how it would look.
If anyone here is good with Photoshop, then please let me know. I might commission you to make a DVD cover of this we can share amongst the forum. I can pay you via PAYPAL whatever a project like this is worth for your time.

I've commissioned and been chatting to dissolute about this cover - I want it to line up with the DVD releases of the Avengers.
I'd also like this to be something that we can share amongst the members of this forum (So long as no one uses it for piracy purposes).
Just a question to you all - would you prefer slimline cases or Amaray cases for this release?
If we do this cover in amaray cases, they are the standard DVD cases and can be bought anywhere. Otherwise the slimline cases are a little tougher to get hold of, but they are what are used in the standrad Avengers DVD relases. Dissolute has said he can help with volumes 1,2 and 3 covers and we may be able to commission him to do a cardboard slipcase that houses releases 1-3. What do you guys think?

BTW, Great work so far, dissolute!

Very lovely indeed!

Personally I'd go for slimline but it's your project :)
