St Hubert’s House, accessed from St Hubert’s Lane at Gerrards Cross, provided the exterior of the Sanctuary of Wings, approximately a mile and a half from the production’s base of operations at Pinewood Studios.

This was on BBC4 TOTP 1986 last night and it was great to see Steed and all The Avengers elements!

It was!

The opening act was Bon Jovi... I had left school that year and was exactly 3 months into my working life, a greenhorn 18 year old, and was probably reading Avengers fanzines :)
