Just watched The minikillers (On youtube) which Diana Rigg made in Spain I think, during her time on the Avengers. Only 30 seconds of this Avengers homage. Does anyone know anything more about this clip or if there was more than 30 seconds made. Also on youtube is a 2 minute clip of the Diana show from the mid 70s which guest starred Patrick!

I have it complete on DVD, it's 28 minutes in total if I remember right.

And it is not much, but I kinda enjoyed it. I think remastering would improve the viewing experience.

Diana's folly ?

I believe it was originally shot on high tech (at the time )
Super 8mm but I could be wrong on this.

I've heard many fans refer to this as Diana's folly...

I think it's highly likely that The Minikillers and Das Diadem were shot on 16mm. It would be very odd for these films to have been shot on 8mm, as even films for the 8mm market were usually shot on a higher resolution format, edited and then down-converted to the smaller gauge.

It would be marvellous to find the masters one day, if they exist...

I thought I was one of a few that enjoyed these mini-movies. They'd make great DVD extras.

They're great fun for what they are - unofficial Emma Peel adventures. And as for your comment about them making great DVD extras, well they were among those Gareth Humphreys and I suggested to 2|entertain. Sadly when the whole 2|e venture fell apart, the idea probably died with it.

I have a vague memory of hearing that Diana made "Minikillers" on Capri, but maybe I got that wrong...

Does anyone know something about, "Der Goldener Schlussel", "the Gold Key". Which is another "minikillers" and "das Diadem" style Diana Rigg film, rumoured to exist.
