Great news, although I didn't take to these originally, over the years they have really grown on me.

Very pleased there is going to be more audio adventures. I really like the casting of these and they are great to listen to.

Sam Clemens, posted this on Twitter yesterday. The wonderful Julian Wadham and Olivia Poulet took a break whilst recording the latest Big Finish Avengers audio adventures to peruse a copy of Stay Tuned and they were most impressed.

It's great to see Julian Wadham and Olivia Poulet sort of promote this new book. :P Very good photo. Moreover, it is done in such a way that I want to reach out my hand to shake it to Julian - as if they are here with us on a live video.

I suppose if there was a similar sort of advertisement for this Honor Blackman book from Unstoppable Cards, then maybe we could see these planned books about Diana Rigg and Linda Thorson (and most likely about Patrick McNee too) sooner. :D :D :D

Finally a pitch perfect cover for this audio series, I love it. Sadly Big Finish's covers for this comic strip range has been a complete mess. They've had the worst run of covers of any other Big Finish range. Not only are the individual volume designs for the covers absolutely dire, but the styles are completely different. The set arranged in volume order on a shelf looks ridiculous. I'll wait until the range is completely finished and then I'll create a single box to house the lot. In fact I think BF should release a set of matching slip covers to compensate for this utter disaster.

Well, obviously no-one can equal Rigg or Macnee. Nobody has claimed that so there's no need to raise an obvious straw man just to attack Julian Wadham yet again (why the constant personal loathing? Did he pee on your chips or something?). These actors aren't trying to exceed or circumvent the original actors, they're trying to provide their interpretations of super-special-agent characters in an original larger-than-life entertainment story. And the stories are new and newly-available stories (at least new to audio, they were comic strips before, and out of print).
franky, you have nailed it. my thoughts...exactly.

Thanks! At some point I'm going to listen to Too Many Targets based on the John Peel and Dave Rogers novel; I've listened to all the Dr Keel stories, but was putting off TMT in order to listen to some comic strip ones first.
Last watched: "Mandrake"

I couldn't get into these audios at first, but taking them for what they are, they are a fun and fresh take on the Avengers concept. I hope BF continue to release further volumes, I've grown to really enjoy them.
