Amazing, that's the first time ever in Australia that a proper release of anything other than the Emma Peel colour series has been released.

The only time any other episodes have been on sale was back when Lumiere was doing their random three episode VHS sets - and those were mostly Emma Peel as well.

As someone who lives in Australia it's great that they've released this but they should have made it a combined DVD (for the videotaped series) plus BluRay for the filmed series. What a missed opportunity....

I've got the most recent UK release Gales and the BluRays so I won't be taking this up.

I wish we in Europe could get hold of those new extras. Would love to see and hear the Chichester material!

I so agree. It would be great if there was a future DVD/blu-ray release of some of the interviews/commentaries that were recorded. As this Australian release contains some of them they may well be hope that there could be a future release.

Talking of a new Australian release, didn't Brian Clemens mention in the foreword for Michael Richardson's book "Bowler Hats and kinky boots", that an Australian compnay were planning to release a "colorized" version of series/season 4? I wonder if that was planned, but this release went ahead instead, or if there are still plans to release it sometime in the future. Be interesting to know.

Yes, the cover artwork is lovely, and they have done something StudioCanal UK have failed to do consistently; use photos from the correct eras!

These look lovely, I wonder if the UK is due for an upgrade anytime soon?
I would like the new extras but can hang on if a new UK edition is coming. :?

Just pre-ordered my copy of The Ultimate Avengers. It came to US $166 including shipping. Worth every cent because, well, it's THE AVENGERS!
