Magazines with Avengers covers

Post by cyberrich »

The TVtimes below just went for £146 on ebay! Does anyone have any magazines with great Avengers covers they can post here? Rich.

I have one or two in my collection, but as I'm going to work in a few minutes, then on vacation in a few hours, I won't have time to scan or post them anytime soon.
If you haven't yet, you should check out Mike Noon's awesome Deadline website, which has a comprehensive (though not updated since September 2008) collection of Avengers-related article and cover scans from 1960 to 2000.

I always thought this version was the more stunning of the three original Peel era TVTimes covers.

Thanks for the deadline link. Some great covers there. I love that Tvtimes cover too. I wish I had it, but I do have this one.

I was lucky to get this in good condition for £23 on ebay several years ago. I haven't seen it on ebay for years, but someone is selling it on amazon for £40, though only in average condition.

I also found this on ebay a few years ago. It's a 52 page French magazine, and about 30 of the pages are about The Avenges. I can't read French sadly, but there are some great pics. Rich.

Two months ago, I was able to get one in good condition for £20 on ebay. I can hardly believe my luck!

Yes I'm sure I paid £20 + £3 postage. That must be the going rate on ebay. A bargain, as I have seen dealers selling this for over £100 at memorabilia fairs. If I see it on ebay again I'll report back here in case anyone would like to add it to their collection. Rich.

The Meet the Avengers magazine from 1963 is on ebay. The bidding stands at £14.99 plus postage if anyone is interested. The auction ends tomorrow at 6.18 pm. Good luck! Richard. :)
