Re: 1.21 - The Far Distant Dead
Does anyone realize no one has figured out what the hydraulic fluid was supposed to be for? My guess is that it was fuel for a local hydraulic dam in the area of the flood being fueled by Mr. Zeebrugge. The reason nobody came for it is that the man who was supposed to pick up the latest shipment and take it to the dam had passed away.

Re: 1.21 - The Far Distant Dead
Recently watched an episode of Foreign Intrigue, a 1950s American series, that was very much like what this episode would have been. It involved a warehouse owner who donates boxes of food after a flood. As it turns out, they are replaced with crates containing guns en route, and the main characters discover the switch and are able to stop the villain, who turns out to be the donor. The man turns out to be a spy who's kidnapped the real donor and taken his place. It's on YouTube, so if you watch it, you should get an idea how the Avengers episode went.

Another similar episode is episode 23 of the series Hong Kong, "The Woman in Grey." This episode is about a woman whose company is involved involved in smuggling arifacts Out of China. The smugglers have blackmailed her into keeping quiet about the smuggling, and for the sake of her daughter, whose education she is supporting financially.

The woman murdered the main characters husband because he had uncovered the smuggling and her daughter's future would have been threatened had she been exposed.
