Yep its true, Dave Rogers was pop singer Dean Rogers in the sixties, thats when he got into The Avengers, he used to watch and take notes about the series before he went on stage and in hotel rooms whilst on tour.

Pleased to report that Dave is alive and very well, im working with him on a project at the moment and his a lovely chap with the best stories.

Sadly I've not been in touch with Dave since 2003/2004. But I believe that he's been in touch with other people from Avengers fandom far more recently...

well, I'm pleased to hear that he's alive and doing well..his early work on documenting the series, was essential...
