There used to be, certainly...Avengerholic wrote:Are there any original colour photos from the THTJB?
"Starburst" Issue 67 had a colour shot of Mrs Peel in the corridors on its cover in 1984 (there may be similar shots inside the issue, or indeed in the earlier issues) and one of Mrs Peel at the end of the corridor is on p99 of "The Avengers - A Celebration".
All the best

I remember that issue....there used to be a bookstore in Memphis, called Bookstar, that used to stock all sorts of similar magazines..from the U.S.
And around the world...and Tower Records also had a large similar magazine rack...sadly, both are gone now...and print media, is slowly fading away as well...

There are some stills on the dvds/blu-rays in colour. I assume you want the colours for the console? It looks to be blue and purple but I only have a distant shot of it. If you search shutterstock/editorial you will probably find it, Studio Canal seems to have uploaded their archive there.

Absolutely right Piers. I did see that shot, seems I incorrectly assumed it was colourized. The console does indeed appear to be blue and purple, an odd colour combination when you look at the colour scheme of the rest of the set. I always imagined it two tone grey with the spinning section having white and red segments. I'll check out the Blu Ray still section.dissolute wrote:There are some stills on the dvds/blu-rays in colour. I assume you want the colours for the console?
