Annual Dead Man's Treasure Hunt
Just wondered if this was still going, it was quite a big thing at one point. You don't seem to hear much about it these days. I remember (although many years ago I admit), that photos and details both before and after the event were posted on line in various places. These days there seems to be hardly a mention of it anywhere! Pity really.

Probably took a hiatus during the Covid years but I think the intent is still there. I'd like to know, too!

I believe it did, yes. Although even before the pandemic source information and pictures of the event were as rare as hens teeth.Frankymole wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 11:40 am Probably took a hiatus during the Covid years but I think the intent is still there. I'd like to know, too!

Re: Annual Dead Man's Treasure Hunt
It had an understandable break in 2020 and 21 but it took place again last year. I didn't attend but I got the emails about it. Chris Bentley usually sends the invitations out around now.

Re: Annual Dead Man's Treasure Hunt
Its only time pressures that have prevented me from posting up pictures (although I did post some up last year, I think) but it’s still going strong and this year’s event will take place over the weekend of 30.06.23 - 02.07.23. I should probably start doing some work on it….

Re: Annual Dead Man's Treasure Hunt
Bless you, Andrew - we certainly have done so far. The weather wasn’t great last night, meaning that the bridge was looking a bit drab, but no less atmospheric for it:
