I really enjoy this episode.

It's quirky with the little announcings, it's fun, it's over the top and it's funny.

It's a standout imo, with it being so unique.

So, hit or miss?

A palpable hit. Great fun. One of my favourite colour era episodes. Wonderfully tongue-in-cheek, even down to the confused narration. It's a joy.

Great episode. One of my favourite series 5 episodes. It's just a lot of fun, and you can clearly tell that Patrick and Diana are enjoying themselves

It's a great episode, if (or maybe because it's) completely over the top. I especially like the 'important announcements', Monty Python avant la lettre.

It's enjoyable in its own right, but Pat and Di's performances make this one a hit.

This is one of only 2 Mrs Peel episodes I'm not keen on. £50,000 breakfast being my least favourite as I find it rather slow. Who's who on the other hand is a fun concept on first viewing, but watching Diana and Patrick play other roles, and Steed and Emma played by other actors for virtually the whole episode I find rather offputting. Also the plot is really thin, and it looks as if it's been made on a tight budget when compared to others in season 5. Still, 49 hits out of 51 episodes can't be bad.

Could have done with a more stylish direction than it got but I like it generally.

I generally dislike it as I do the majority of the Emma colour episodes. I liked them as a child, but now that I've grown up and seen the early (Cathy Gale) episodes, I feel the whole first colour season was generally a big letdown.

Mwah, every season has it's good and bad episodes. For instance, you can't accuse most Emma episodes from being very slow, whereas quite a few of the Cathy episodes are a good cure for insomnia.

From what I have seen (everything except 50% of Season 4 and the whole Season 6, the latter is not on my wish list), only Season 2 and a part of Season 3 have the same style, which is a strength but also a weakness (people get attached to a certain style). It is very difficult to see a good story in something if the style of the presentation is unappealing to you.


Me? I like the episode (not top 5, but more top 10 material for the whole season) and Patricia Haines (together with Judy Parfitt and Jan Holden) is one of the best recurring female guest stars that the show had.

I love this one. It's clear Patrick and Diana really enjoy the opportunity to stretch their legs, Patricia Haines and Freddie Jones do a good job of filling in as Steed and Emma, and the hopelessly confused narrator is a treat. I loved this ep so much I wrote a semi-sequel to it. How can body-swapping not be fun?
