yup...everyone was a winner...but there only could be one...unless, say they took turns rotating..every few days....perhaps in an alternative universe.Frankymole wrote:I'd love to know who did which but maybe that's not etiquette... I thought all were of excellent quality and as far as I'm concerned they're all winners and part of my Christmas! The silhouettes in Stable Mews were my vote, atmosphere, character colo(u)r and nostalgia (with a hint of mystery) it's what the Avengers is all about for me.dissolute wrote:Congratulations to Avengerholic for the runaway winner of this year's banner competition! I''ve had to optimise it a bit to shrink the file size as the forum now has a lower size limit.
Also, a hearty thanks to Darren, New Doberman, Rhonda and, err, myself for submitting great entries.

How exciting, I'm quite humbled considering there were two or three real corkers to choose from.dissolute wrote:Congratulations to Avengerholic for the runaway winner of this year's banner competition! I''ve had to optimise it a bit to shrink the file size as the forum now has a lower size limit.

Congratulations, Avengerholic. I voted for yours.
What appealed to me was the more graphical and black and white approach.
I did number 2, I found inspiration rather lacking this year. I think I've used up all my ideas in previous years.
Some great entries.
There was a point when entry numbers out-numbered the votes but thankfully that improved.

Thank you Darren, I was looking for something that had a festive look, was related to one of my favourite episodes, but didn't feature any of the characters. Personally I'd grown tired of seeing the leads featured every year.darren wrote:Congratulations, Avengerholic. I voted for yours.

I don't know if everyone wants to own up but Avengerholic did 1 & 9, Darren has said he did 2, and I did 5.
3,4,6, & 7 were all by the mysterious Mr Blonde and 8 & 10 were by Mr Pink.
I'll leave it up to them to reveal who they were but it's easy to work out, really.
