Better than the vineyard quote? I've put you down for The Hour That Never Was. Jaz onboard is a great coup for the book. I've put myself down for the unloved Room Without A View as I didn't write about it last time out and don't actually mind it.jaz wrote:OK Rodney, you win... I'll do one.
I'm not sure which episode yet but I'm not sure which one yet as there are so many great ones left to choose from but I've narrowed it down to one of the following:
The Murder Market
The Master Minds
Death At Bargain Prices (worth doing for the best line ever written in the whole series)
The Hour That Never Was
Trouble is I love all of these and am struggling to choose one.
Season 4: A creative idea

That's nine episodes booked in, or out. Plenty more.

I think that for longer pieces of analysis the commentary approach works well. The biggest potential pitfall is simply retelling the story, rather than analysing. Hopefully, The Town of No Return chapter gives people an idea. It will be interesting to see if others share my experience: that it is far easier to write about the better episodes.

I wrote some years about each episode of season 4 about 40 lines (I don't know how many words) but ...in French.

From now on I will only list those episodes seeking adoption. That's ELEVEN episodes booked out. FIFTEEN more up for grabs, including some classics such as The Murder Market, Death at Bargain Prices, The Gravediggers, and Too Many Christmas Trees. If anyone has contact details for Avengers fans such as Henry Holland, Marcus Hearn and David K Smith perhaps they would ask them. David's favourite Dickensian Avengers is still available.
