Looks like a comic book is in the offing. Think it may be a reprint though :

Yes, it looks like Boom! Studios (who I am unfamiliar with) have the rights to reprint the old three issue Eclipse Comics series from 1990.
The original series was three issues so looks like they're going to chop each original comic in half to makes a 6 issue run.
Glasgow born writer Grant Morrison went on to far bigger and better as the writer of a lot of A-List American superheroes, so his name will be the big attraction.

They've also had the Disney comics licence for the past 18 months or so, which Disney is now taking back again. There was an Emmalike in one storyline--a catsuited fox named Femme Appeal. (Heck yes, I still read Disney! )MLP* wrote:They've been publishing Planet Of The Apes comics of late.Dandy Forsdyke wrote:Yes, it looks like Boom! Studios (who I am unfamiliar with)
I already have the original three-issue printing, so I shan't be springing for this one unless there's something revoluntionary in it. Fresh Avengers comics would be nice, though--other than radio, I think it would be the best format to revive the series through.

I sometimes see the original comics from 1990 on ebay. If anyone has these, would you say they are worth buying. I collect Avengers stuff, but I've never been sure about comic strip material ever since I saw the 1968 Avengers comic at a memorabilia fair for £70. The dealer said it was rubbish. I didn't buy it! Rich.
