I do love seeing more of the picture in these releases. I never realised that Linda is stood in front of the door in the final frame of the suits of armour titles which has the "produced by" credit over it. Also due to the added clarity there are a few tell tale signs that they slowed the ...

Just been watching this myself. The audio sounds great and is the same as my contender discs - but ofcourse much clearer. I work with audio and compression quite a bit and i did notice on "The forget me knot" that the audio is quite compressed. The final scene between Emma and Steed is a c...

Thanks very much chaps. There's lots of little Avenger styled animated "stings" and idents on that release - hope you like them :) As for series six ... i particularly love Tara's completely off the wall flat. I'm not sure about the shocking pink carpets but i love the rest of it. I moved ...

This series has a wonderful freshness to it and a terrific colour palette which no doubt will look gorgeous after it's remastering. It's also the series with lots of location footage which adds a great deal of depth to the stories. I'm completely biased though as i love Linda Thorson and that marvel...

Since I haven't bought any of the Optimum DVD sets, maybe I shouldn't speak up, but I do find this a bit negative. We should be glad these remastered DVD sets with so many extras is available by a company that is willing to replace faulty discs. The discs should be faultless, but count your blessin...

I'm not sure if anybody has noticed this is on their sets or it might just be me being really picky, but has anybody noticed an issue at the very start of The Bird Who Knew Too Much? I say an issue, but it's only about 1 second long and doesn't spoil the viewing of the episode. Immediately after th...

I watched the Optimum "The bird who knew too much" and the Contender one and couldn't tell the difference with regards the sound. Ofcourse it's MUCH clearer but the levels and pitch were the same. It reminds me off a quote Patrick Macnee said about Diana Rigg that when she had a long reams...
