I remember almost buying this set last Thanksgiving for 75 pounds. It has gotten ridiculously expensive of late at 149 pounds. It looks like a great set and I can put the Series 4-6 blurays in place of the DVD's. That price though seems a bit much.

I personally would love a complete series boxset of The Avengers on bluray total or series 1-3 on dvd and 4-6 on bluray. Ideally put in the same box as the 50th Anniversary Avengers dvd set. Seasons 1-3 could easily fit on 4 bluray discs in SD. I want the entire series but the boxset for dvd anyway ...

Nice to see new treats will be offered on the bluray edition. We might get additional content for Series 6. I hope so, anyway! :) yes, indeed...now only if say LIONSGATE in the U.S. would offer this... I hate to sound crass, but the odds of getting series 4 and 6 in the US just went up substantiall...

I live in the U.S. that could have been the problem.

Did anyone notice if the series 5 US bluray was cut at all?

Most of all I would still love for The Strange Case of the Missing Corpse to be restored in a future boxset. It clearly was shot on 35mm film and is the 1st color mini episode. At 3-4 minutes wouldn't be that extensive of a restoration. It looks surprisingly good damage and all in SD.
